Ha Long Bay and around

Ha Long is busy, and the difference between an excellent night on the water and a disappointing one comes down to the route the boat takes and how many other boats share the anchorage. We favour Lan Ha Bay and Bai Tu Long routings for exactly that reason, and we will tell you honestly which boats have aged badly since their brochure photos were taken.

River cruising

  • Mekong Delta — 2 to 7 nights, Vietnam and Cambodia, Saigon to Siem Reap
  • Red River — short heritage sailings from Hanoi
  • Private sampans — shallow-water access to canals larger boats cannot reach

Charter and incentive sailing

Whole-boat charter for groups of 12 to 60, with menus, timing and shore activities built around your programme rather than the boat's fixed schedule. Popular for incentive finales, milestone celebrations and photography workshops.

Frequently asked questions

One night or two on Ha Long Bay?
Two nights, if the schedule allows. One-night cruises spend most of their time on the busy central route; the second night reaches genuinely quiet water.
What happens if a cruise is cancelled for weather?
Port authority closures are outside anyone's control. We rebook to alternative dates where possible, or arrange a land programme and refund the unused cruise portion per the operator's policy.
Are cabins suitable for families?
Most boats offer connecting or triple cabins. We confirm the exact configuration on the specific vessel before booking rather than relying on the general description.
