View allFrequently asked questions
Do I need a visa in advance?
No. Most nationalities, Vietnam included, get a visa on arrival at Kathmandu airport for 15, 30 or 90 days, paid in cash USD.
Do I need trekking experience?
Routes like Poon Hill or Ghandruk suit beginners over 3–5 days. Everest Base Camp needs good fitness and at least 12–14 days for acclimatisation.
Is altitude sickness a risk?
It can be, but a slow ascent profile prevents it. All our treks build in acclimatisation days and guides carry emergency oxygen.
Which months should I avoid?
June–September is the monsoon, with slippery trails and clouded peaks. December–January is very cold at altitude but clear.
