Day 3: BATTAMBANG COUNTRYSIDE – BAMBOO TRAIN – PHNOM SAMPEAU | Meals: B

- Observe the rhythm of rural life and, where available, visit small community-based or family-run production stops selected by the local operator. Experiences may vary with season and local availability.

- Experience Battambang’s famous Bamboo Train, a distinctive local rail experience associated with the province’s transport and agricultural heritage.
- The operating route and departure arrangement must be reconfirmed with the local supplier before travel, as more than one Bamboo Train operation may be promoted in the Battambang area.
- Continue to Phnom Sampeau to explore its hilltop cultural landscape and enjoy wide views across the surrounding plains.
- Descend towards the bat cave area and, conditions permitting, remain until dusk to observe the natural emergence of bats before returning to Battambang. The timing and visibility of this natural phenomenon cannot be guaranteed.
